What is EcoX? EcoX Network and EcoX Dubai explained
EcoX, also written EcoX Network or EcoX Dubai, is a Dubai-based organiser of business and technology networking events. It is best documented through its public Luma calendar,[1] where its weekly meetups are described as covering blockchain, crypto, technology and UAE business setup.[2] Most descriptions of EcoX come from EcoX itself. Independent organisers confirm its role in specific events, but we found no source for its legal entity, its size or a single founding date.

Names used for EcoX
The calendar is called EcoX Network Calendar,[1] the LinkedIn company page and social handles use EcoX Dubai or ecoxdubai,[4] and a 2024 conference biography expanded the name as Ecosystem ConneXions (EcoX).[7] This page covers all of these names. Several unrelated companies and products also use the name ECOX; they are listed at the end of this page.
What EcoX events look like
EcoX Monday event pages announce networking, a presentation about the Dubai EcoX ecosystem with insights on blockchain, crypto, technology and UAE business setup, a fireside chat with guests and open networking.[2] Earlier pages also announced a "pass the mic" segment in which guests present their own projects in five-minute slots.[3] These are agendas as announced by the organiser. The events archive lists every calendar entry.
What EcoX says about itself
The following statements come from EcoX's own channels or from biographies supplied for conference programmes.
- Self-declared The LinkedIn company page states that EcoX Dubai was founded in 2019, is headquartered in Dubai and uses ecox.pro as its website.[4]
- Historical The former EcoX website, as archived in December 2024, said EcoX was the platform behind a blockchain community event founded in 2018 that had showcased more than 500 speakers and VIP investor dinners in Dubai.[5]
- Self-declared Event pages describe EcoX as "Dubai's premier business networking platform with a presence in 18 global locations". We found no list of these locations.[6]
- Self-declared A 2024 conference biography said EcoX operated across nine countries, organising meetups, start-up pitches, investments and talent resourcing.[7]
- Self-declared Current event pages list Jorge Sebastiao and Franco Fiore as hosts and describe both as co-founders.[8] A co-branded EcoX and DSRPTD page from October 2025 gave the same label to a third host associated with DSRPTD.[9]
What other sources confirm
The EcoX calendar itself is directly observable. On 28 September 2026 it held 100 listings: 98 past entries going back to 28 August 2024 and 2 upcoming entries.[10] Of these, 76 were created on the EcoX calendar, 9 belonged to other calendars but named Jorge Sebastiao or Franco Fiore as a host, and 15 were other organisers' events featured in the calendar.[11]
Organisers independent of EcoX have named it in connection with specific events:
- DSRPTD's account of World Token Summit 3.0 x TheBlock. Festival says Bitcoin Network, Cryptonite and EcoX hosted the festival's "Bitcoin Thursdays" popup on 30 April 2026 in Dubai.[12]
- World Token Summit's site says EcoX hosted "Block & Chill Dubai", an invite-only mixer at Tacenda Lounge on 7 September 2026, on the road to Africa Blockchain Festival 2026 x World Token Summit 4.0.[13]
- SBC Summit's Web3 & Crypto Academy programme lists Jorge Sebastiao as "Co-Founder, EcoX Dubai" for a fireside chat.[14]
These sources show event-level roles. They do not establish a partnership, ownership link or the size of the EcoX network.

Legal entity and registration
No legal entity name, UAE trade licence number or official registry record for EcoX was identified in the sources we reviewed.Unconfirmed[15] This is a limit of our research, not evidence that no licence exists. EcoX organises networking events; nothing on this page suggests that EcoX offers regulated financial or virtual-asset services.
Where EcoX is online
The EcoX Luma calendar links to Instagram, X and YouTube accounts under the handle ecoxdubai, and to the TikTok account 4jorge, which uses Jorge Sebastiao's own handle.[16] Event pages add the Telegram channel t.me/EcoXt and LinkedIn.[17] The calendar still lists www.ecox.pro as its website,[18] although that domain now hosts this independent site. The Telegram channel title and one of Franco Fiore's Luma profiles point to www.ecoxnetwork.com, which did not resolve when we checked.Unconfirmed[19] We do not treat it as a confirmed EcoX website.

These organisations and products share the name ECOX or ecoX. We found no connection between them and the Dubai event organiser.
- ECOX Network, an eco-to-earn iPhone app provided by ECOX GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD.[20]
- ECOx (ECOX), a crypto-asset associated with the Eco protocol.[21]
- Eco Innovation Group, Inc., a Nevada company that has used the OTC ticker ECOX.[22]
- ecoX, an energy-management solution for construction sites from TELE Haase.[23]
- ECOX Energy, a Shanghai-based battery energy-storage brand.[24]
- Ecox Consultancy Services, a UAE business-setup website at ecoxuae.com.[25]
- The domain ecox.network, which showed only a registrar parking page.[26]
